The Infection Control Preventionist, Wound Care Nurse RN or LVN
will promote, coordinate, and monitor our state-of-the-art infection control program within assigned skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Under the leadership of our Chief Clinical Officer and Director of Infection Control Programming, the Regional IC Consultant will work directly with Regional Nurse Consultants, Regional Directors of Operations, and facility Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Infection Control Specialists and other staff members to ensure that each facility has fully implemented all aspects of our infection control program which is designed to comply in all respects with CDC, CMS, OSHA and other federal and state guidelines.
The Infection Control Preventionist, Wound Care Nurse RN or LVN
will provide training and supervision to facility-based Infection Control Specialists and will be responsible for evaluating each facility’s adherence to the program and designing remedial action plans to ensure regulatory compliance and resident and staff safety.
Working alongside other Heritage Plaza Nursing Center executive staff members, the company’s Infection Control Preventionist, Wound Care Nurse RN or LVN will be significant contributors to infection control planning at the corporate, regional and facility levels to include the development of policies, protocols, and training programs to improve patient care and safety.
