Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking a Journeyman Network Administrator. A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Locations:
- MacDill AFB, FL
- JEB Little Creek, VA
Responsibilities:
- Strong troubleshooting, analytic and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities.
- In addition, the Government may require Candidates to be on call 24/7 in case of network failures or emergencies.
- Typical duties include:
- Administering the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures
- Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
- Troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems
- Administering LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and spam control measures
Qualifications
Experience/Skills:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Skills and experience with a variety of network 41 protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN and WAN operations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience will be considered.
Certification:
- DoDD 01-M IAT II AND CCNA OR CC DevNet Associate OR Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) certifications required
Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance is required.
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
