Position Summary

We are seeking a Nail Technician who can deliver professional, meticulous, relaxing and exemplary nail care to all members & guests, providing the finest in member/guest service available.

Qualifications

Essential Responsibilities

• Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled shift
• Park your car in employee's parking lot
• Enter Spa by using side door. Stop by the front desk to check in
• Perform Opening & Closing procedures as instructed
• Maintain professionalism, grace and dignity at all times
• Greet members/guests on time with proper salutation and smile
• Use members/guests name at least twice during interaction
• Refrain from discussing company or personal business with guests or members
• Conducts 30,50 and 80-minute nail services, complete with massage and appropriate product application
• Perform nail services as listed on the brochure following proper safety and sanitation guidelines, while delivering exceptional member/guest service
• Conduct all treatments according to treatment guideline while following given policies and procedures for the spa at St Andrews
• Assess and accommodate guests' needs: inquiring about physical well being and perform appropriate services.
• Desire, and ability and commitment to educate and sell products to members and guests
• Do not prescribe, diagnose or suggest ailments
• Do not solicit personal clients, house calls or sale of personal products
• Maintain availability and dedication to the Spa at St Andrews, being available to work as needed including weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Escort guests as needed to the locker areas or next appointment
• Participate in and contribute to the staff meetings, training sessions, product knowledge classes and team effort
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment
• Know your schedule and check the computer (spa soft) regularly for changes or added appointments
• Pick-up all clients on time and finish scheduled appointments in time frame allotted for the service
• Abide by all Florida State Board guidelines
• Comply with all St. Andrews policies and procedures

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Valid Florida State Cosmetology License
• Service oriented - able to pamper, accommodate and anticipate all members/guests needs
• Clean, organized and detail oriented
• Team Player
• Flexible and accommodate attitude
• Able to put safety first
• Committed to the State Cosmetology rules and regulations for nail care and related services
• Must be proficient in Dip/NexGen Powder Sets.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand for a long period of time (up to average 8 hour shifts)
• Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, stoop and knell when assisting Members with their needs.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years minimum experience with nail care
• Valid Florida State Cosmetology License

Compensation

• Salary is commensurate with experience.
