Otter Cove Children's Museum Play Workers are responsible for ensuring exemplary customer service and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer outstanding guest services to ensure a memorable experience for all members and visitors.
• Check in members and guests by effectively using the POS/membership system.
• Assist caregivers and enthusiastically interact with children as they utilize exhibits.
• Assist with museum events including facility and room rentals, fundraisers, field trips, etc.
• Perform a thorough deep cleaning of the museum at the end of each day, or more frequently as needed.
• Ensure safety of museum members and guests by monitoring the rules set forth by Otter Cove are followed.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Personal alignment with and passion for OCCM’s mission and values
• High comfort level interacting with children and adults in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in working in a team environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work evenings and weekends
• Point-of-sale experience, or willingness to learn
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and feel confident standing and being mobile during the day
