MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER manages a staff of technical production specialists that contribute to and produce multi-platform communications including broadcast, web, social media, and print. Oversees and coordinates graphic design, copywriting, production, and printing processes. Being a MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER implements policies, procedures, and guidelines for producing media content. Familiar with software tools including the Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Additionally, MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What's the Short Version?
    The Multimedia Designer creates original and engaging content for our social media, email, flyers and website. They research and develop creative concepts and turn ideas into videos, images, infographics, text captions and more.

    What Will You Be Doing?
    • Create content for various social media platforms (Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) as well as for emails, digital ads, and websites.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant to our target audience, align with brand voice, and maximizes engagement, reach, and sales.
    • Create and edit short videos.
    • Design and produce attractive multimedia content according to website specifications.
    • Conduct research on emerging media techniques and design ideas.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and advancements in media techniques.

    What Are We Looking For?
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms— Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
    • 1-3 years of working with creative tools like Adobe CS Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar software.
    • Ability to ideate creative concepts and turning them into compelling content.
    • Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content.
    • Must be comfortable in front of and behind the camera.
    • Experience with multimedia content creation design – designing content in interactive formats such as gifs, graphic posts, short videos, etc.
    • Experience with short-form video editing – editing and/or creating short social media videos.
    • Passionate about social platforms and pop culture.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, being able to convey ideas with confidence.
    • Knowledge, curiosity and experience with social media tactics and digital world.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, knowing when to speak up and/ or ask for support when needed.
    • Ability to generate ideas and think creatively, and able to communicate those in team brainstorms.
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
    • Attention to detail – proofreading, aesthetics, among others.
    • A can-do attitude.
    • Are an excellent team player.

    What's Our Offer?
    Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience.

    Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

    Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 7 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

    What Should You Expect?
    Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.

    SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
