Position Title: Multimedia Marketing Specialist

Position Summary: The BCHFS Multimedia Marketing Specialist will work under the direction of the Director of Development & Marketing to design and implement the agency marketing and development plan.

The position is a 35.5-hour work week. Evening and weekend work may be occasionally required. The position is full-time and eligible for benefits. Occasional travel will also be required.

Position Location: The position location will be determined at hire. Travel to all program locations may be required at times.

Position Provisions: The position will be provided with an agency credit card for business expenses and travel and a computer.

Position Accountabilities:

• Manage the agency’s Social Media presence across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, lnstagram, Pinterest, Google etc.) using a social media dashboard. Create, post and share compelling content on a regular schedule with the intention of engaging our target audiences.
• Create promotional videos for web sharing, program marketing and to support fund raising efforts.
• Create and manage content for the agency’s website to ensure that all online information is correct, up to date, relevant and engaging.
• Plan and produce compelling content for agency newsletters (hard copy and on line).
• Plan and produce other marketing documents, program brochures, Annual Report and other special projects that are needed.
• Create and organize in electronic format an ongoing historical record of the ministries of BCHFS for future use.
• Visit all campuses regularly and attend all major events to capture video and photos to be used for agency’s marketing and promotional materials.
• Create PowerPoint presentations to aid presenters in promoting the ministries of BCHFS.
• Utilize graphic design software (Photoshop, In Design etc.) to create promotional materials.
• Assist with annual marketing plan and coordination.
• Perform other related duties as requested by BCHFS leadership.

Position Qualifications

• Associates degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Graphic Design or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant graphic design, marketing and communications experience
• Advanced knowledge of social media marketing
• Excellent writing and copy-editing skills
• Strong video production skills
• Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, In Design)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
