A Day in the Life at Rock City H-D

• Come to work every day Ready to MAKE IT HAPPEN!
• Every day focus will be on greeting, talking with customers, developing relationships that lead to finding the right motorcycle fit and that dream bike for the customer.
• Obtain customer commitment to meet with the manager to review numbers and finalize the closing.
• Understand motorcycle models by studying characteristics and capabilities; comparing competitive models and other available options while staying up to date with the upcoming new features and designs.
• Cultivate prospects and build a pipeline by working the showroom floor and customer follow-up via phone calls, emails, and promoting through social media.
• Participate in events at the dealership and at outside events networking with motorcycle riders and inspired riders.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting sales customers in selecting the perfect Harley-Davidson motorcycle to fit their needs, providing accurate information on the motorcycles and performing timely follow-up with our customers.
• Walking buyers through the buying process.
• Moving motorcycles | attending to motorcycles on the showroom floor
• Conducting test rides with customers
• Presentation of Harley-Davidson motorcycles
• Presenting and negotiating purchase details
• Data entry into customer data base system
• Phone calls | emails | text to customers for follow up and prospecting with minimum daily requirements
• Welcoming guests into the dealership
• Narrowing down the selection of Harley's to find which ones fit the customers’ needs
• Selling the fun and excitement of Harley-Davidson to customers

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

• Valid Motorcycle endorsement Preferred but not Required
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
• Have a love of motorcycles and contributing to the success of the team
• Be an outgoing, energetic people person
• Be self-motivated, positive, driven and helpful
• Be able follow a structured sales process on value based selling
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, Holidays, and evenings.
• Good computer | phone | email skills
• Harley-Davidson experience is preferred but not necessary
