As an expert in motion design, you will push our story telling in dynamic ways while keeping strategic positioning top of mind. You take abstract concepts and add an additional dimension to the stories we tell. You solve problems and think proactively, always stepping up to the next challenge.
The Team - The Brand Expression team defines, maintains, and expands the Thunder brand. As a creative partner to the various departments within the Thunder organization, we supply creative solutions, language, and design support for a wide variety of campaigns, using central brands and visual themes that help the Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma City Blue basketball teams connect with our fans locally and around the globe.
The Role - As a motion designer, you build creative solitons in a kinetic space. You create compelling motion graphics and supplement existing campaigns. You are no stranger to the creative process and add an additional layer of storytelling to everything that you do. You are responsible for setting a high standard of output for our brand expression through motion, adding narrative elements, dynamic transitions, and thoughtful compositions to compliment the creative work. You will develop ideas, brainstorm, and assist with production on multiple projects, while applying your individual talent, and collaborating with other designers and editors to craft outstanding results. This job has variety, and you will work with other versatile designers as we tell the story of our brand.

Work location will be the Oklahoma City Thunder corporate office located in downtown Oklahoma City and work schedule may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Head of Brand Identity. Employees are encouraged to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
