Motion Graphic Designer conceptualizes, designs, develops and executes 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for web, mobile, and other digital platforms. Utilizes sketches, storyboards and animatics to develop concepts. Being a Motion Graphic Designer creates complex graphics, animation, and video content. Works with UI designers and developers to integrate graphics into the overall design of projects. Additionally, Motion Graphic Designer proficient with a variety of visual and audio design and editing tools. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, design or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Motion Graphic Designer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Duties:- Support the creation of marketing materials, social media content, signage, collateral, and a range of other visual communications
- Support the Director of Marketing with the development of concepts, strategies, and design.
- Support the Director of Marketing with social media updates, content creation, grand openings, google reviews, and other duties as assigned.
- Managing and supervising multiple projects.
- Ensuring resources are allocated according to project needs.
- Directing the design and development of creative materials.
- Ensuring brand identity and message consistency across channels.
- Meeting objectives, values, budgets, and deadlines.
- Leading and participating in brainstorming sessions.
- Keeping up with the latest trends, strategies, and technologies.
- Develop design concepts
- See projects through from conception to completion
- Collaborate and be an active member of our marketing and communications team, advocating for excellent brand representation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Responsibilities and Skills:- Potential Majors: Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communications
- Proficiency of graphic design software (e.g. Adobe creative suite)
- Demonstrated portfolio showing creative and design skills; portfolio submission required of all applicants
- Strong understanding of graphic design hierarchy and principles
- Assist with Social Media updates and content creation
- Should possess technical aptitude and great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely in oral, written, and presentation formats is essential.
- Must be able to pass certain background requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years professional experience in similar role
