LOCATION: Apply Digital is hybrid/remote-friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in Latin America, preferably working in hours that align to ET or PT.

Candidates located in Santiago, Chile are able to work out of our Santiago office as remote/hybrid employees. Candidates located outside of Santiago, Chile will be fully remote employees.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Motion Designer who can edit and produce both live footage and animated content to promote Apply Digital’s internal brand. This role will be a dedicated position within the Apply Digital marketing team. The marketing team endeavours to promote the Apply Digital brand and tell engaging thought leadership and technology stories. Your videos will be a mix of interviews, expert talks, thought leadership pieces, cultural showcases, case studies, technology exploration, portfolio videos etc. You will get an opportunity to think outside the box and take ownership of the output from end to end. • Prepare design plans, concepts, storyboards, and layout for video projects
• Collaborate closely with writers, producers, designers, and other team members
• Provide accurate time and equipment estimates for each part of the process
• Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables
• Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
• Create and deliver motion graphics in various media, including mobile, tablet, and web
• Edit a variety of video content using video editing software (Adobe After Effects, etc.)
• Produce high-quality audio content for videos (music selection and editing, voice-over editing, etc.)
• Communicating with internal stakeholders, where applicable, regarding the production and delivery of content
• Incorporate feedback professionally and collaboratively

• 3-5 years of professional working experience in motion design
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-end motion design skills
• Thorough knowledge of motion design and post-production workflows
• Solid expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator). Intermediate or higher level of experience in After Effects is mandatory.
• Basic experience working with Figma
• Strong working knowledge in video editing software such as Premiere
• Ability to select audio/music and perform audio mixing
• Experienced in C4D, or any 3D software is a plus but not required
• Good understanding of video formats, compression techniques, and format requirements/constraints
• Ability to design and create storyboards
• Manage time effectively, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
• Ability to learn fast and take direction
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
