Motion Graphic Designer jobs in Massachusetts

BRIGADE is looking for a local designerto join our extraordinary team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about motion graphics (animated logos, graphics, typography, gifs, fun) who doubles as a designer and can do a print layout in a pinch. Ideally, you have 3-5 years of experience, as our timelines are tight and our clients are savvy.

Must love: Collaboration, juggling various projects and priorities, a fast pace, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get it done!

You Possess the Following

• A love of design and all things motion
• Strong design aesthetic and typography skills
• An extraordinary portfolio and creative mindset
• Previous professional design experience helpful but not necessary
• A strong work ethic
• A clear understanding of our company’s vision and guiding principles
• An ability to work within tight timelines, juggle multiple assignments and deliver an extraordinary creative product
• A solid grasp of Adobe Creative Suite
• Above average attention to detail
• Strong planning skills, you consider the budget, assignment, and aesthetic and you have a plan before you start
• High attention to details, ability to digest and translate guidance and feedback
• A desire to learn, improve and be a part of an extraordinary team

Physical and Environmental Demands

• Dependent body mobility to access a standard office environment with shelves and drawers of varying heights.
• Vision sufficient to read a computer screen, and printed text and hand-written documents.
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard on a daily basis, as well as other standard office equipment.
• Stamina to sit and/or stand up for hours at a time.
• Ability to transport, lift or carry essential work-related materials or items up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone, and in various forms of written communication.
• Mental stamina for problem solving.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to document, recall, and explain detailed trainings, conversation, or events, and apply oral/written instructions, as needed.
• Will be required to work in an office environment and travel to other site locations or clients, as needed.
