Mortgage Specialist (Bilingual - Spanish)- Mortgage Lending Department

We are looking for a dynamic team member who is versatile, willing to learn, detail-oriented, open-minded, outgoing, and above all a team player, to join the Mortgage Lending Department as a Mortgage Specialist. The department will need a bilingual employee to assist Spanish speaking members.

The ideal applicant will be professional in dress and manner at all times and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The Mortgage Specialist is responsible for the coordination of all initial mortgage loan inquiries via walk-in or phone for the department. You will assist the membership in the decision to move forward with a mortgage loan application by disclosing the various types of mortgage products MFCU offers, current rates, etc. It is imperative that all mortgage inquiries are handled in a compliant and efficient manner. You will be responsible for providing specific program information and a list of necessary documentation a member needs to move forward with an application. In addition to these primary duties, you will also learn and assist with mortgage processing, closing and post-closing duties as volume dictates. The Mortgage Specialist will assist the mortgage production team and provide support to all staff members where there is a need.

This position requires S.A.F.E Act registration and an NMLS ID which may be obtained after selection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
