Job Summary:

This position is responsible for reviewing, packaging, delivering and insuring of closed loans to Investors/FHA/VA/RD/MHFA/WHEDA/Lakeview/NM/MO and other Bond Loans. Also responsible for the payments of FHA MIPs, VA Funding Fees, RD Fees, Bond Fees and PMI Payments.

Primary Duties:

• A detailed review of all closed loan files and accurately submit to investor within required time frames.
• Request all missing information and timely follow up to clear all errors and/or missing documentation.
• Work with title companies, loan processors, loan officers and other Bell Bank Departments in obtaining or fixing documentation.
• Transmit MIP/VA/RD and Bond loans Funding fees to FHA/VA/RD/Bond in a timely manner.
• Insure FHA/VA/RD loans.
• Work with Capital Markets on delivery, delays and issues of files.
• Review suspense reports to gain knowledge and information on new investor suspenses and to improve the current suspense performance ratio.
• Strive to improve department operations by displaying a positive attitude, making positive suggestions and contributing as a team member.
• Contribute to company's financial security by always representing self as a salesperson for the company.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Including in office tasks, such as opening closed loan packages, delivering Original Notes to investors, and other miscellaneous in office tasks.
• Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.
• Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards.
• Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
• Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Required:

• Two years' post closing experience or equivalent mortgage experience.
• Ability to function efficiently and effectively under deadlines and stress while maintaining a professional and mature profile.
• Exhibit good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to work extremely well with internal and external customers using excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborative and embrace change.

Job Expectations:

• This Position offers a hybrid work schedule; you are required to work in office 4 days per week.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
