What you'll do :

The Post Closer will assist the Post Closing Team Lead in all functions of the Post Closing Department.

What we are looking for :

• Create a collateral file from closing document package and scan copy into Encompass eFolder
• Place the collateral file in fireproof safe and add it to the collateral tracking log
• Assist with creating the daily Collateral Manifest for funded loans and sending to our bank custodian
• Assist funders with the Auto Assign function of closing documents in Encompass eFolder
• Input Security Instrument recording information in Encompass
• Follow up on Trailing Loan Documents
• Assist Corporate with obtaining any Title Policy / document corrections or questions
• Work with Closing Attorney / Title Company to obtain documents to clear file for purchase
• Meet weekly with Sr. Mgmt to review Government insuring status
• Any task or responsibility requested by any AmeriHome Managing Director, the EVP Retail Lending or any SVP Retail Lending.

What you need to have :

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Mortgage Banking experience a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast paced environment

Compensation : Hourly range for new hires is generally $28.00 - $35.00 for Irvine, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.

In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus / incentives earned.
