Mortgage Loan Servicing Clerk performs administrative tasks to support the mortgage loan servicing group. Reconciles additions and disbursements of escrow accounts, processes payoffs, and reviews documents for accuracy and completeness. Being a Mortgage Loan Servicing Clerk requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Mortgage Loan Servicing Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Flexibility to work remotely from a home office within the state of NE for qualified candidates with applicable experience. Travel to Ogallala, NE in the first 90 days for training and periodically moving forward for team meetings is required.
This position performs loan processing, closing, set-up, and follow-up (servicing) responsibilities associated with the documentation and posting necessary in granting credit to the Bank's borrowers. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks/requests, attention to detail, and working individually as well as within a team are necessary for success in this role. Some type of banking experience is preferred, especially in regards to lending processes.
