Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor supervises a team of loan processors to ensure that new mortgage loan packages are processed and completed according to established policies and procedures. Ensures operations are efficient and effective. Being a Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor evaluates files for accuracy, completion, and compliance with governmental regulations. Trains and supports a team of processors on current and new procedures. Additionally, Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor may prepare loans for underwriting. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.     Position Responsibilities:
    • Provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone
    • Receive and post loan payments in an efficient, friendly manner
    • Contact customers who are overdue on loan payments; work with them to identify solutions for repayment
    • Balance the cash drawer daily
    • Make daily bank deposits
    • Maintain compliance with Sun Loan Company policies and procedures
    • Tax preparation support (if applicable)
    • Network to attract new business
    • Work closely with other team members and manager to reach branch goals
    Position Requirements:
    • One year customer service experience from any industry
    • Fluent Spanish/English language skills
    • Basic computer skills and ability to operate a calculator
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Ability to work Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm; Fridays 8:30-6pm and occasional Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm, additional hours may be required (No Sundays)
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
