We are seeking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
• Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters
• Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
• Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
• Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
• Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
• Participate onsite at local trade shows for home builder, realtor, home improvement industries
• Set proper expectations with clients and referral partners.
• Ensure that all origination activities are in full compliance with state and federal lending laws
• Communicate clearly and frequently with the client and related third parties involved in the transaction.
• Attend required meetings and trainings at both the branch and corporate level.
• Conduct yourself as a positive ambassador for Castle & Cooke Mortgage, LLC in all communications and actions, internally and externally.

Competencies

• Must possess the following attributes : results oriented, problem solving / Analysis, time management, communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, and integrity.
• Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations
• Maintain an active license with NMLS
• Ability to run files through the proper AUS system depending on loan product.
• Excellent customer / interpersonal service skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive work environment to ensure strict time restrictions are met

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience :

Minimum of 1 year as a self-generating mortgage lending experience required.
