Mortgage Loan Funding Clerk, Sr. jobs in Florida

We are currently seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our dynamic team at First Coast Mortgage Funding. As a Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Loan Officers and borrowers by serving as a liaison between underwriting and clients. • Input detailed loan process documentation in our system - from origination to close
• Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial

• Work closely with loan officers to collect and review loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Verify borrower information, including income, employment, and assets
• Coordinate and communicate with clients to gather necessary documents and resolve any outstanding issues
• Review loan applications to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Familiarity with VA, FHA, and USDA loans is highly preferred.
• Track and monitor loan files, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing client concerns.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality throughout the loan process.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
• Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required

• Prior experience as a Loan Processor is preferred
• Familiarity with VA, FHA, and USDA loans is highly desired.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
