Mortgage Development Manager manages a team of mortgage lending specialists in developing customer relationships, promoting mortgage loan products, and attaining volume and profit goals. Ensures that application processing follows state, federal, and organizational policies and guidelines and that customers have accurate loan information and guidance about product options. Being a Mortgage Development Manager conducts team training on company products and services. Coaches team members to promote a sales culture, improve selling techniques, and meet goals. Additionally, Mortgage Development Manager monitors trends and developments in the real estate markets and changes to private and government-insured mortgages. Maintains relationships with a network of realtors, attorneys, CPAs, and other contacts to obtain referrals and facilitate the lending process. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Required Education and Experience

    • No property management experience required, candidate will receive on the job training
    • Working Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite, email, faxing, scanning, etc.)
    • High level of conflict management skills
    • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
    • Outstanding written verbal phone and email etiquette
    • Self-motivated, self-starter
    • Ability to work without direct supervision or alone
    • Must have comprehension skills in order to understand the procedure book and other policies
    • Levelheaded in emergency situations and professional in a court setting
    • Experience working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, ability to manage up
    • and down and keep a friendly outlook.

    Responsibilities assigned to this position may include:

    • Meet with prospective renters and take them on tours of the units that interest them.
    • Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and regulations.
    • Collect application fees, security deposits and rent payments.
    • Coordinate property maintenance.
    • Inform residents of any changes to the rental agreement or upcoming problems with the property.
    • Follow up with prospective renters.
    • Establish rapport with tenants and provide personalized service.
    • Monitor use of community facilities, including laundry.
    • Handling all other duties assigned, including actions to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.

    Summary/Objective

    The onsite Leasing Manager is accountable to protect, maintain and enhance the value of Green Company real estate assets to maximize the owner's financial return and for the benefit of the tenants, consumers and the community. This is accomplished by direction and coordination of the location’s operational activities. This incumbent represents Green Companies Development Group to both the tenants and the public.

    Frequently lifts items more than twenty-five pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on the number of units. This position is

    expected to be on-call for onsite emergencies.

    Travel

    Local travel during the business day is expected, minimal overnight travel may be required.
