Mortgage Credit Analyst assesses the risk and creditworthiness of loan applicants and recommends loan approval, terms, or application denial. Gathers necessary credit, income, and tax information to conduct financial assessments. Being a Mortgage Credit Analyst reviews and verifies property appraisals, collateral value, and key indicators such as debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios. Prepares a detailed credit analysis and summary using underwriting guidelines, risk assessment frameworks, and following applicable regulatory compliance. Additionally, Mortgage Credit Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Mortgage Credit Analyst work is closely managed. Job Summary
This position sets up and maintains global transfer credit equivalencies (i.e., how transfer credit courses fulfill Cal Poly graduation requirements) in our student database; this position works behind the scenes to provide important support to their colleagues and students in increasing the accuracy and efficiency of transfer credit application.
Department Summary
Within the Strategic Enrollment Management Division, the Office of the Registrar serves the entire campus community, alumni, and the public. The Office of the Registrar is responsible for support to: academic scheduling; curriculum; publication of the university’s catalog; enrollment and registration; grading (initial collection, grade changes, credit/no credit); production of transcripts and diplomas; verification of enrollment; certification and compliance of veterans and student athletes; maintenance of the automated degree audit and other tools designed to assist students with registration and course planning; evaluations of degree credit, transfer credit, major changes, and final degree completion; the development and publishing of transfer articulation agreements; implementation and interpretation of legislation, Chancellor’s Office, and Cal Poly policies; and maintenance and reporting of all aspects of the student record.
