May assist in developing strategies to limit foreclosures, repossessions, etc. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Collection Manager typically reports to a director. The Mortgage Collection Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Collection Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position: Mortgage Loan Originator
Description: This position is responsible for the origination of home mortgage loans according to First Banks standards and secondary mortgage guidelines. Essential job functions include developing business relationships with consumers, realtors, and builders, being able to use applicable computer software and internet-based programs and achieve loan volume goals by understanding loan programs and options offered by First Bank. You must be able to practice high quality customer service, loan consulting and participate in marketing functions. Skills required include excellent communication, professionalism, analytical thinking, and organization. Minimum qualifications working knowledge of real estate terminology, an understanding of residential loan products and services, and computer skills including proficiency with internet navigation, Word, Excel and Outlook.
