The New Car Sales Manager is responsible for the sales success of the new vehicle department by effectively managing the staff, planning and developing short and long term goals.
Ensure sales personnel are motivated, thoroughly trained and professional regarding customer interactions
Manages trade-ins, sales, and delivery of new vehicles, keeps a vehicle and sales history log
Uses appropriate procedures for management, facilitates the Sales Department to generate expected levels of gross and net profit
Establishes sales quotas for all sales personnel which meet their individual skill levels
Supervises and runs all operations involving new vehicles
Devises appropriate forecasts
Keeps a balanced new inventory in relation to sales
Provides an appealing showroom. set up with vehicles and accessories to draw the interest of customers
Works together with General Manager to devise monthly and annual goals for the Sales Department
Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
Minimum 10 years of previous leadership experience in Automobile Dealership.
At least 3-5 years of a proven track record of success excelling as a Used Car Manager at a high-volume leading luxury brands
Must have experience working with various dealer solutions such as vAuto
Professional appearance and strong communications skills
Advanced computer skills is a plus
Proven track record of success
Strong record of positive CSI ratings
Team-oriented with a passion for coaching and development
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
