Mortgage Collection Manager manages a team of collectors and supervisors who limit collection portfolio losses and delinquencies. Trains and staffs collection associate team. Being a Mortgage Collection Manager evaluates delinquent loans and determines foreclosure status. May assist in developing strategies to limit foreclosures, repossessions, etc. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Collection Manager typically reports to a director. The Mortgage Collection Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Collection Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     ASSESSMENT FACTORS

    1. Demonstrates full-performance knowledge and experience performing the full range of HCM duties in support of overt DAO collection operations.
    2. Orally briefs moderately complex operational information, ideas and strategies to relevant audiences.
    3. Leverages a professional network of agency and IC partners at the appropriate level to facilitate improved HUMINT operations.
    4. Makes informed recommendations, using existing SOPs or established guidelines, on an actionable timeline for meeting customer and mission requirements.
    5. Demonstrates and maintains a thorough understanding of the organization’s mission, functions, values, and policies/procedures.

    HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS

    1. Understanding of strengths and limitations of defense attach collection against Strategic Competition requirements.
    2. Understanding of China military priorities and approach to competition.
    3. Previously served in the Defense Attaché Service, Defense Debriefing Service or Defense Clandestine Service.

    Additional information

    DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. All civilian employees are required to participate in the DoD Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer of Pay (DD/EFT) Program.
