KETCO INCORPORPARED is a Pattern & Model job shop that has been at our current location in Dayton for over 40 years. Our work involves precision machined and hand sanded engineering models & prototype components along with tooling master patterns for the composite industry. Our customers include aerospace, commercial and military products, trucking, bus and rail industries, along with other consumer product applications.
We are looking for applicants to fill positions in our company with the following work requirements: Pattern Finisher, Model Maker and Composite Fabricator :
Job description:
-Hand sanding, finishing, trimming and assembly of final products (patterns, tooling and parts)
-Fabrication of components for product development and prototyping purposes
-Processes may include hand layup fiberglass, urethane casting, detail machining, hand forming & carving,
priming & finishing of 3D printed components
Beneficial skills (not all required, but would be advantageous for position)
-Experience with general shop tools- hand saws, table saws etc --
-Body shop skills- fillers, primers, sanding
-Experience with shop machinery- mills, lathes etc
-Working with hand layup fiberglass, epoxy resins, 2-part urethanes, RTV silicones and detailed assemblies-- all would be advantageous
-Experience with variety of materials- foams, wood, plastics, metals, fiberglass and composites
This would be a first shift operation position in an air conditioned shop. Pay would be determined based up skill set and experience of applicant. We are willing to look hire several people, so entry level and more advanced skill sets will all be considered.
