Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at a busy restaurant. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas according to our recipes and customer preferences. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare pizza dough by stretching, tossing, and shaping it

- Add toppings and ingredients based on customer preferences

- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment effectively

- Monitor cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area

- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

- Upsell additional menu items to customers

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or in a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of restaurant or retail math for accurate measurements and portion control

- Strong customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required

- Ability to perform basic math calculations for recipe measurements
