Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.
- Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.
- Eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
Preferred Job Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop robust and maintainable code with clear documentation
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming/Design, Web Development, Database programming, debugging
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL technologies
- Experience in ABAP development and ABAP Objects
- Experience in Web Services (SOAP and REST), and client-side JavaScript frameworks like React, UI5, or Angluar
- Experience in designing, maintaining, and implementing large scale enterprise business applications is desired, especially experience with SAP products
- Experience with Agile SCRUM development projects
- Practical knowledge of change management processes is a plus, e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, SAP transports
- Links to existing projects are welcome e.g., Github profile
- Oracle or other relational database management systems with experience in SQL.
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design concepts such as inheritance, composition, and encapsulation, as well as the MVC design pattern

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
