Role Overview 

High performing, durable equipment begins with precise engineering, and it all starts with our engineering team. Working closely with customers, our engineers develop advanced products to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry. 

We are adding an Electrical Designer to support the manufacturing of low-voltage industrial control panels and to facilitate the installation and wiring of electrical equipment. 

You will work directly with Controls Engineers under the supervision of the Electrical Engineering Manager. The electrical drawings you create will support the manufacturing of low-voltage industrial control panels and facilitate the installation and wiring of electrical equipment. This will require a strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate within a team. Our ideal candidate has experience with batch process automation and sequencing and familiarity with industrial equipment. We’re excited to pair this first of its kind hire with an established team of highly experienced, long tenured engineers as we grow and evolve! 

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year technical degree related to electrical systems 
• Knowledge of electrical design and understanding of electrical engineering standards
• Experience designing or building industrial control panels and motor control starters is required, batch processing experience preferred
• 2 years experience drawing schematics and creating Bills of Materials, ideally in AutoCAD LT
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, plan, and organize as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team
