SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Mixer will be primarily responsible that effervescent forming operations are kept supplied with
product that meets all the specifications and quality standards that have been developed for the
product in a timely manner. To complete their assigned work orders and follow all of the procedural
guidelines set by the company or its customers, under the direction of the Production Supervisor.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
• Be responsible for following Batch sheet requirements and specifications and to notify the Lead Mixer of any problems with the batch characteristics.
• Be responsible for following all Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices applicable to the area.
• Be responsible for the timely completion of assigned forms that are needed to document applicable SOP’s.
• Be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working area.
• Be responsible for reporting any injuries, unsafe equipment or safety violations to the supervisor and management.
• Be responsible for organizing the mixing area in an uncluttered and clean way.
• Be responsible for safely operating mixing machinery located in the department.
• Be responsible for wearing personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
DIMENSIONS, TASKS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Fill out necessary batch sheet and quality control records.
• Move assigned barrels/pallets of product or raw ingredients to designated areas.
• Mix batch ingredients using mixing equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in the inventory of raw ingredients and perfumes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
MEETING PARTICIPATION
• Any as requested.
AUTHORITY
This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is a line position with direct authority to stop
production if it is found that Quality Standards or Operating Procedures are not being followed.
The position closely collaborates with material handlers, production workers and Supervisors.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not a managerial role and does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
CLASSIFICATION
This is a full-time non-exempt role.
EDUCATION
• High School diploma
• Or Equivalent Experience
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Experience working in a GMP environment preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong problem solving abilities
• 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry preferred

• Working Conditions - Exposure to hazards of an industrial environment including noise, dust wet wash down areas, hazardous materials, machinery and lift equipment.
