Mixer operates and tends machines that mix materials or ingredients used for production processes or manually mix ingredients. Loads materials into mixing equipment and ensures results comply with specified batch requirements. Being a Mixer may utilize tools, devices or heavy equipment to move materials from inventory to production area. Documents operational information as required. Additionally, Mixer cleans and sanitizes processing equipment, tanks, filters, pipes, lines, and pumps. Follows hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements, if applicable. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. What You’ll Do
As a Heavy Equipment Mixer Mounting Technician, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and take on a variety of tasks, including:
1. Mounting mobile concrete mixer bodies to heavy truck chassis
2. Install, fit up and tuning of hydraulic system components
3. Connecting and testing 12V electrical systems and verifying CAN bus control systems
4. Programming truck chassis ECMs.
Plus, you'll be able to work inside during the winter and receive paid training to help you succeed in this role.
As a Mixer Mounting Technician, you should possess the skills or can be trained to mechanically mount large mobile machinery to truck chassis, install and connect machine hydraulic systems to truck mount PTO’s, and interface 12V electrical components to truck chassis electrical systems. Being able to diagnose and program truck ECM’s is a plus but not required. Overall, we are looking for folks with a strong background in 12V mobile electrical systems, mobile hydraulic systems and general mechanical skills. Even more important we are looking for people eager to learn and grow with our company.
