Mine Foreman supervises a staff who prepares, inspects, and works in mining projects such as underground or surface mining. Ensures the staff performs project research, design calculations, and records accuracy of mining activities. Being a Mine Foreman may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. May require certification by the MSHA. Additionally, Mine Foreman typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mine Foreman manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. General Description: The underground Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shift through month plan work to ensure that the mine achieves the weekly target KPIs Main Responsibilities | Activities
Recognize health and safety hazards and correct them as soon as possible.
Conduct frequent workplace inspections.
Coordinate with the on-shift mine supervisor to safely complete necessary underground mining operations that meet the weekly targets.
Coordinate with Eagle technical services to ensure compliance with mine design, mine planning, and ground support.
Coordinate with the mobile maintenance department to ensure equipment performs per plan.
Ensure tools and supplies are kept in good working order and inventories remain intact.
Perform weekly powder counts and report on counts to supervisor.
Coordinate special projects with mine supervisor to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Assist in developing daily plans that support weekly mine plans.
Occasionally use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and other mechanical tools and equipment to assist operations
Other duties as assigned Education, Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in the mining industry, preferably in an underground operations environment
Computer literacy in Microsoft office, Deswik OPS
Good communication skills
Ability to problem solve and manage conflicting priorities
Good knowledge of safe operating procedures, safety rules, policies, emergency procedures, and MSHA requirements

2024 Full-Time Employee Benefit Package
Vacation:
Based on years of relevant work experience (See offer letter)•Annual vacation allotment will be provided on a quarterly basis
Holidays:
365 Day Employees: 7 paid holidays; 48 floating holiday hours; Non-exempt employees receive 2x pay for all hours worked on a holiday.•8-hour Employees: 96 floating holiday hours•10-hour Employees: 110 floating holiday hours
Sick Leave:
56 hours per year

Your choice of two medical plans, one with a Health Savings Account.
Eagle Mine pays 100% of premiums for both medical plan options.
Eagle Mine contributes to your HSA if enrolled in the Simply Blue HSA Plan.
Both medical plan options offer 100% covered preventative care.
If medical coverage is waived, you will receive an opt out amount of $85 per pay period.
RX program included in medical plans: Optum RX
HSA and FSA:
Voluntary pre-tax employee contributions, up to IRS limit, for HSA and FSA accounts.
Debit card or claim submission for eligible expenses.
HSA:
Must be enrolled in the Simply Blue HSA plan.
Quarterly employer contribution: $200/quarter for 1-person plan, $400/quarter for atwo-person or family plan.
HSA funds can be used for eligible medical, dental, vision and RX expenses.
Health FSA:
Must be enrolled in non-HSA plan.
Elected funds are available immediately, deductions are made from your paycheck 2xper month.

BCBSM Dental:
80% of premium paid by Eagle Mine.
Preventative care is covered at 100%; basic care 90%; major care 60%; $1,500 annualmax.
Orthodontics covered at 50% up to lifetime maximum of $1,500.
BCBSM Vision:
Premium cost paid by employee.
Eye exam every 12 months
Lenses for glasses or contacts every 12 months; frames every 12 months.
401(k) Plan:
Eligible after 3 full months of employment.
Company match up to 6%.
Eligible for an added employer only contribution after 1 year of employment.
3-year vesting schedule (33.33% vested per year).
Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP):
STIP percentage is based upon stratum level and role.
Target award included in the offer letter.
Rewards achievement against business and personal goals.
Life Insurance AD&D:
Company provided life insurance: 2x annual salary; AD&D, 3x annual salary.

Short-Term Disability (STD):
