Millwright maintains industrial machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools. Moves, assembles, installs or dismantles machinery. Being a Millwright interprets schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Analyzes plans for new equipment and maps out space to unpack and assemble new equipment. Additionally, Millwright troubleshoots problems and repairs or replaces worn or broken parts as necessary. May use equipment like forklifts, aerial lifters, and cranes to move heavy or unwieldy machinery. May perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed. Follows all work site safety requirements and regulations. Typically requires a high school diploma. May require OSHA Forklift Operator Certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Millwright works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Millwright typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. Job Title: Millwright (Machinery Maintenance)
Status: Full-time- Non-Exempt
Location: Sacramento
Day Shift: 5:15 A.M. – 1:45 P.M. Monday – Friday with some OT (Daily schedule is dictated by
machinery maintenance and repair and could require additional over-time)

The Opportunity:
We are searching for a talented and qualified Millwright who has proven experience with industrial and construction equipment repairs. You will be responsible for dismantling machinery, transferring equipment, and installing equipment.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, electricity, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms essential for job procedures. Must be a team player with strong attention to detail. In this position, you should also be able to make decisions, troubleshoot, and perform repairs with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities:- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
- Build the foundation for machines.
- Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails.
- Responsible for maintenance of the machines and equipment of the plant.
- Knowledgeable in 120v, 220v and 440v
- Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
- Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
- Grind and file machinery parts.
- Supervise construction workers when using the equipment.
- Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.
- Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
- Pre-employment drug test Required.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Millwright or similar job.
- In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
- Completion of an accredited Millwright certificate program.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
