Week 1 Sun - 5AM, Mon-1AM, WED-9AM, THU- 9AM and FRI-9AM & Week 2 - Mon-1AM, TUE-9AM, THU- 9AM, FRI-9AM and SAT-9AM

Cloverland Dairy is located in Baltimore City, Maryland, where we provide over 300 jobs for local residents. Cloverland Farms Dairy is seeking a Milk Receiver. The Milk Receiver will be responsible for monitoring the intake receiving area and assure proper flow of incoming milk and other products. Load out cream and perform all quality tests. Test milk for contamination, quality, and antibiotics (a critical control point). Perform scheduled cleaning activities. Direct truck drivers on parking and check for security of milk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Upon receiving tanker properly weighs it in for gross weight of contents and take temperatures of milk, ensures samples of product are taken to Quality Control.
• Works under close supervision in a team setting in a fast-paced production environment.
• Check all valves and fittings to make sure they are tight and proceed to unload the truck.
• Take butterfat drip samples to Quality Control and weigh tanker out for accurate purchased product.
• Subtract empty weight from gross weight to get accurate amount of purchased product.
• Hook up spray bulb for washing and sanitizing of empty tanker.
• Fills out receiving log and maintains all tanker charts according to Maryland State Health Department requirements.
• Ensures quality and security of product.
• Hook up and tear down lines.
• Maintains proper housekeeping of work area.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Must comply with Good Manufacturing Processes under FDA standards. Follow controlled SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Required to work mandatory overtime when needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Must be capable of reading and understanding instructions and have knowledge of basic math skills.
• Must have computer skills including basic key boarding skills/inputting data.
• Ability to apply analytical reasoning and root cause analysis to solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50- 80 lbs.
• Wet and slippery floor conditions.
• Must be able to stand on feet during the entire shift.
• Position requires constant bending, lifting, reaching and climbing ladders during eight- or ten-hour shift.
