Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years or older
* Possess a valid driver's license
* Committed to providing outstanding customer service
* Successfully complete all required training
* Must be able to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation
* Experience in shipping/receiving strongly preferred as well as in retail, farming, ranching, and pet/equine
* Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
* Must be able to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends as dictated by business needs
* Knowledge and/or skills of basic computer and basic math
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with Team Members and Customers
* Ability to constantly operate a forklift and other equipment to run a store
* Able to safely access all areas of the store including sales floor, side lot, stock area, and register area
* Must be able to move and transfer merchandise 50 lbs. throughout the store
* Lift or reach merchandise overhead
* Process information/merchandise through the point-of-sale system
* Able to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry
* Travel as required in support of district needs

Responsibilities:

* Maintain inventory accuracy to keep inventory shortages at or below store goals
* Adhere to loss prevention standards
* Promote a safe, organized, clean, and productive work environment for all Team Members, Customers, and Vendors
* Adhere to Company safety training and guidelines
* Accountable for processing inbound and outbound freight
* Maintain, recover, stock, and tag assigned work areas including all merchandise displayed outside of the store
* Participate in mandatory freight process
* Rotation and disposition of dated products
* Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures
* Assemble merchandise
* Operate forklift and cardboard baler
* Ensure the safety and well-being of birds. Sanitize and maintain poultry holding tanks and care for birds as required
* Complete all documentation associated with any of the above job duties
* Other duties as assigned
