Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs to produce precision parts. You will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure the efficient operation of our CNC machines.
Responsibilities:
-You will create CNC programs to perform tasks such as drilling, milling and turning on mills, lathes and 5-axis machines. -You may be required to operate CNC mills at times and run the programs you have prepared.
- You will be involved in the decision making process of complicated projects that will flow through the shop while maintaining communication throughout this process. -You will perform final inspection of work before parts are shipped to the customer.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming techniques and practices
- Solid understanding of machining processes, including milling, drilling, and turning
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their use in quality control
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using Powermill software is a plus.
