Hiring immediately for CNC Programmers to provide programming set up and machining expertise in support of daily production in Rochester, NH and Exeter, NH.
- Must have 3 yrs experience CNC Programming with CAM software (GibbsCam or MasterCam) and operating CNC equipment.
- Must have experience programming 4, & 5-axis mills, Swiss, and/or mill/turn machines.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Independently create CNC programs using GibbsCAM or MasterCam.
- Experience in programming 4, & 5-axis mills, Swiss, and/or mill/turn machines.
- Configure tools and ensure efficient production.
- Identify, design and manufacture fixturing and work holding to effectively process parts through all operations.
- Analyze blueprints to calculate correct part dimensions for tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
- Independently set up and operate CNC equipment on first run parts before handing off to production.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot quality and/or process related issues.
- Provide guidance to operators and setup technicians for process related issues.
- Provide cycle time and tooling cost estimates for new products to engineering.
- Communicate recommendations to engineers to modify parts and processes.
- Carry out other duties reasonable within capability as required by the supervisor.
Education And/or Experience
- High School or GED Diploma required - associate degree or Certification in related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience with CNC programming with CAM software, and operating CNC equipment.
- Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers, fixtures, and gauges to check work.
- Read Instrumentation and gauges (micro heights, micrometers, calipers, etc) to accurately measure dimensions on parts that are being machined.
- Must have a proficient understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices and be able to select tooling and machining resources for the manufacture of parts.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Blueprint with GD&T reading capabilities.
- Able to work under own initiative.

Working Conditions
- On-Site work in either in Rochester, NH or Exeter, NH
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
