    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CNC programming using MasterCAM and Mazak machines. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-quality machined parts according to engineering specifications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop CNC programs using MasterCAM software to efficiently machine parts on Mazak CNC machines.
    • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models to generate accurate machining instructions.
    • Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
    • Perform machine setup, including tooling selection, fixture design, and workpiece setup, to ensure proper machining operations.
    • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of CNC programs to verify accuracy and efficiency.
    • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and meet production deadlines.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    • Maintain documentation and records of CNC programs, tooling configurations, and machining parameters for future reference.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC machining technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, preferably in a manufacturing or machining environment.
    • Proficiency in MasterCAM software for CNC programming is required.
    • Experience working with Mazak CNC machines is highly desirable.
    • Strong knowledge of machining principles, including tool selection, feeds and speeds, and cutting strategies.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Prior experience in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting is preferred.
    • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is advantageous.
