Job Summary and Description
The Middleware Systems Manager configures and manages middleware systems and the MS-SQL environment for critical enterprise systems. Responsible for the efficiency, availability, security, scalability and flexibility of the application architecture. Ensures integration performance, system currency, service, reliability and consistency for enterprise-level information applications. Provides high level support to the Enterprise Database Manager, Applications Manager and Infrastructure Technology Manager in support of the ERP, Oracle DBMS, Web services and ancillary administrative applications.

Reports to the Senior Manager of Applications and Systems

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field; or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
• Six years of relevant computer architecture experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in database technology, computer information systems, management information systems or Computer Science.
• Six years of work experience in foundational computer science areas: algorithms; computer architecture; programming methodologies and languages; data structures.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver license. Must be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
