Middleware Engineer performs design, development, installation, tuning, and maintenance of middleware applications. Provisions platforms and infrastructure with middleware solutions. Being a Middleware Engineer analyzes requirements to implement effective middleware architecture, resolve technical issues, and optimize performance. Defines and documents technical designs and system configurations. Additionally, Middleware Engineer coordinates with application development and cross-functional technical teams to enable and support middleware integrations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Middleware Engineer works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Summary/objective
Seeking an engineer with a desire to work in a hands-on environment designing and manufacturing construction equipment. Candidate will receive training in industry-related matters, but certain basic engineering and drafting skills are expected. Room for individual growth in an exciting industry at a growing company.

Work environment
Work in a small team (3-5) of designers and engineers on site and a larger team (6-8) throughout the Western United States. Work frequently with fabricators and welders, and work environment will include daily exposure to large equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and fabrication equipment.

The Employee will occasionally: Climb or balance, lift up to 25 lbs
Travel required
None. Occasional travel may be possible depending on desire and experience.
Required education and experience
Preferred education and experience
Experience in crushing, screening, washing, bulk material handling, etc. is preferred. Preference will be given to experience or education in structural design, fabrication, welding, or construction. Experience in Autodesk Inventor is preferred, but experience in Solidworks, PTC, or other 3D programs is also acceptable.
