General Nutraceutical Technology’s (GNT's) mission is to develop novel interventions to improve quality of life and save lives through the identification, development, and commercialization of therapeutics for allergic and inflammatory diseases including Food Allergy, Asthma, Mast Cell activation, allergic Rhinitis, Eczema, and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. GNT has developed an internal therapeutics pipeline and works closely with academic researchers to support clinical research of botanical medicines. GNT has received NIH/NIAID grant funding, private foundation funding and private funding to support its research, development and advancement of new medicines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in immunology to advance our understanding of the immune system and its role in various diseases.
- Design and execute experiments to investigate immune responses, identify biomarkers, and evaluate the efficacy of potential therapeutic interventions.
- Analyze and interpret complex scientific data, using appropriate statistical methods and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other researchers, clinicians, and product development teams, to drive the development of novel immunotherapies.
- Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals and present findings at conferences and scientific meetings.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in immunology research by reviewing the scientific literature and attending relevant conferences.
- Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support in their research activities.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Biology, Microbiology, pharmacology, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in conducting immunology research, preferably with a focus on human immune responses.
- Strong knowledge in immunological techniques, including flow cytometry, ELISA, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques, as well as animal model studies, etc.
- Proficiency in data analysis using statistical software and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present research findings and write scientific publications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Prior experience with animal models and/or clinical trials is desirable but not mandatory.
