Meter Reader Requirements:- Ability to drive and willingness to use personal vehicle initially (mileage reimbursed)
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Comfortable with walking in various terrain and weather conditions
- Proficiency in using computer or tablet technology for data recording
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel within the Orange / Rockland territories
Meter Reader Responsibilities:- Drive to various homes and businesses to read electric meters
- Utilize computer or tablet technology to record meter readings accurately
- Walk in all terrain and weather conditions to access meter locations
- Operate a company vehicle after training, initially using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of meter data
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures during meter reading activities
- Maintain professionalism and positive interactions with customers
