Job Position Description:
When there is severe weather (we get everything from tornadoes to flash flooding to blizzards), you'll be leading our coverage from the studio. The Morning Meteorologist will join an award- winning team recognized with National and Regional Edward R. Murrow and Emmy awards each year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
KRDO13 is looking for an experienced, high-energy Morning Meteorologist M-F. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about severe weather coverage, going live and breaking into programming for wall-to-wall coverage. This position will require the ability to produce compelling forecasts which are visually engaging and concise with a heavy emphasis on tracking the next weather maker. This position also requires a meteorologist who knows how to leverage digital platforms to drive weather coverage. The Morning Meteorologist must have the ability to work with many different staff on and off the air each day.

$85,000 to $90,000; based on experience. Exempt.
