Mergers and Acquisitions Manager jobs in Kentucky
Mergers and Acquisitions Manager evaluates an organization's opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and oversees M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration. Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk. Being a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager develops financial models used to estimate cash flow and the potential for profitability. Collaborates with key stakeholders. Additionally, Mergers and Acquisitions Manager may participate in negotiations. Typically requires a MBA or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Mergers and Acquisitions Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities:
- Identify Off-Market Opportunities: Scout and research potential off-market real estate properties through various channels, including networking, cold calling, direct mail, online databases, and other innovative methods.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads, build a robust pipeline of off-market opportunities, and maintain a database of potential properties and their respective owners.
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Initiate and manage negotiations with property owners, investors, and other relevant parties to secure advantageous deals. Structure offers that align with both seller and company objectives.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with property owners, real estate professionals, investors, and other industry contacts to leverage opportunities and enhance business networks.
- Market Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough market analysis and due diligence on potential properties to assess their investment potential and risks.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, deal progress, and other sales related key performance indicators to Braxton Hopkins, Partner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in real estate acquisitions, sales, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of the local real estate market and industry trends.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a proactive approach to sourcing off-market opportunities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and databases for real estate research and lead generation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
