Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst jobs in Lowell, MA

Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst compiles and analyzes data required for merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects. Performs integrated revenue/expense analysis. Being a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst develops projections, reports, and presentations of the impact of a merger/acquisition on the organization. Performs financial forecasting and modeling. Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Reporting to the Manager, Accounting and Finance, this position is responsible for performing various accounting activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Performs accounts receivable duties such as
    • Sending out customer invoices
    • Maintaining customer advance payments including monthly reconciliation
    • Applying daily cash
    • Generating customer statements of account
    • Responsibility for collection of payments
    • Other duties as assigned related to the company's sales and service operations
    • Works collaboratively with internal teams and external business partners
    • Respects safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment

    Experience and Qualifications

    • At least 3 years work experience as collector
    • Experience using various accounting software applications and skilled with MS Office products
    • Highly organized, deadline focused, attention to detail, research and problem solving abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
