Description

• Establish and analyze travel program performance standards; current state (processes and procedures); customer relations; satisfaction objectives; and prepare factual assessments to improve programs and identify weaknesses, underlying causes, and measures required to mitigate reoccurrence through questionnaires and other feedback. 
• Support the government’s response to inquiries which can come from travelers, industry, government officials, related to assigned programs and DoD travel systems (e.g., DTS, DTM or all approved government systems). 
• Gather information, identify issues, draft, analyze, integrate, review, and provide recommendations, to the Government, and other documentation in support of the ILP and DoD Dine Smart programs. 
• Prepare entries and input, track, and monitor data for inclusion in various information systems, such as Defense Online Booking Tools (Defense Travel System (DTS) and Defense Travel Modernization (DTM)), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), DTMO’s travel data repository (referred to as Commercial Travel Information Management (CTIM). 
• Support testing and monitoring of the programs performance within DoD Travel Systems (e.g., DTS, DTM). 
• Attend sustainment and backlog grooming sessions in support of ILP and Dine Smart programs. Report issues and planned enhancements targeting prevention and resolution of potential impacts.  and Database administration. Customer Service Inquiries.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in DoD travel support services or travel industry 
• Travel Management Company (TMC) knowledge and GDS booking systems or other online booking systems
• Possess or able to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Sales or experience in food service industry a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft suite applications and database repositories.
• Functional knowledge of DoD government credit card program and DINE Smart programs desired.
• Prefer Federal travel processing and travel management expertise.
• Knowledge of Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) for DoN best practices and SOPs
• Knowledge of FMR/ JTR codes and regulations 
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to build solid relationships with client and foster team environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field or experience with professional certifications.
• Two or more years of progressive experience with degree. Degree can be substituted with experience.
• Travel as required.
