Merchant Card Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Designs and recommends sales programs for the merchant card department and sets short and long-term sales strategies. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Merchant Card Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Merchant Card Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    • Showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Research accounts, identify decision makers and generate interest
    • Identify opportunities for potential sales leads and upsells on products and services
    • Perform discovery sessions with new and existing clients
    • Recommend improvements in products, service, or billing methods and procedures in order to prevent future problems
    • Address clients’ needs and guide the sales process from the beginning to the end
    • Access and handle documents with sensitive information, in accordance with company policy
    • Maintaining database with prospective client information
    • Collaborate with internal partners on implementation to assure success.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience selling Merchant Services
    • An Entrepreneurial mind-set
    • Be self-motivated
    • An ability to build a relationship with clients
    • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

    Compensation package:
