Merchant Card Customer Service Representative jobs in Texas
Merchant Card Customer Service Representative provides merchant bank card services to existing and new clients and acts as contact point for all merchant inquires. Responds to questions, researches and troubleshoots issues, processes billing and adjustment transactions. Being a Merchant Card Customer Service Representative assists with the set up and maintenance of services and processing systems including supplies and advertising collateral. Communicates new service offerings or changes to the clients. Additionally, Merchant Card Customer Service Representative may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchant Card Customer Service Representative gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. To be a Merchant Card Customer Service Representative typically requires 1-3 years of related experience or may have 0 years of experience with additional training, or certification. CCS is a answering service that has provided business solutions and employment opportunities to individuals for over 51 years.
Our rapidly growing team at CCS is looking for highly motivated Customer Service Representatives to manage calls on our inbound and outbound programs. You will be responsible for assisting callers by providing product information, service information, and resolving technical issues in addition to other various client requests. Job duties include answering incoming calls and making outbound calls for a large variety of companies including medical offices, law offices, service providers and much more! This is NOT a telemarketing position.
As the voice of the CCS clients, Customer Service Representatives are always polite and professional when interacting with customers to manage their needs. It is our goal to always maintain a customers first attitude here at CCS!
Responsibilities:- Manage all calls in a timely manner
- Identify callers needs for call resolution
- Provide customers with product and service information
- Accurately process online reservations
- Document call information according to standard operating procedures
- Maintain knowledge base of evolving products and services
- Identify and escalate issues to supervisors
- Maintain Quality Assurance Standards
- Cross Train into multiple programs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
