Merchant Card Customer Service Representative provides merchant bank card services to existing and new clients and acts as contact point for all merchant inquires. Responds to questions, researches and troubleshoots issues, processes billing and adjustment transactions. Being a Merchant Card Customer Service Representative assists with the set up and maintenance of services and processing systems including supplies and advertising collateral. Communicates new service offerings or changes to the clients. Additionally, Merchant Card Customer Service Representative may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchant Card Customer Service Representative gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.     OVERVIEW
    Provides support for all customer business requests received through phone, fax, or e-mail. Coordinates all customer contacts to insure timely and accurate handling and processing within established policies, procedures and directives

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with assigned accounts.
    • Meet all assigned responsibilities and goals.
    • Receive, document, coordinate and complete following business transactions and requests accurately and timely as defined in established policies, procedures, and current directives.
    • Purchase Orders and related requests
    • Returns and related requests
    • Information requests
    • Coordinate on-time delivery of products and services accurately and timely as defined in established policies, procedures and directives.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams and team projects.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, peers, and managers relating to issues, progress, status and solution.
    • Work within the Products Group team to balance responsibilities and share information.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Customer Care.
    • Owns the customer experience throughout the entire lifecycle of the relationship
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum of one (1) year of Customer Service experience required
    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
    • Basic understanding of telephony concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Ability to coordinate with various levels of management within different functional areas.
    • Experience with MS Office Suite.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work within a team environment.
