Merchant Card Customer Service Manager manages a team of merchant card customer service representatives. Establishes service standards and monitoring processes to identify and resolve performance issues with team or service systems and procedures. Being a Merchant Card Customer Service Manager provides development and training that ensure the team is prepared to provide efficient service. Coordinates with other internal functions to provide any technical or other services that are needed. Additionally, Merchant Card Customer Service Manager recommends changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs and to address new or unmet business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Merchant Card Customer Service Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Merchant Card Customer Service Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Customer Service (Debit Card) - Part Time Days

  • We are looking for people who enjoy helping others to successfully answer telephone calls from customers inquiring about goods and services from clients of Five Star Call Centers, while providing high-quality service with a helpful, professional attitude.
    This particular project is assisting clients with inquiries on debit card incentives, orders, and balances.
    This is a Bring Your Own Device position to work-at-home for individuals living in the states of : Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
    Qualifications Previous 1 year customer service or customer support experience preferred Previous 1 year call center or office background experience a plus Basic computer skills Quick learner and able to work independently Type 35 words per minute accurately Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening Must be 18 years of age A background check applicable with state and federal laws will be required
    Responsibilities
    Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner
    Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics
    Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research and provide solutions and/or alternatives
    Access company and client resources provided to accurately handle the call
    Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
    Skillfully change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
    Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
    Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions
    Flexibility to cross train as requested
    Pay & Benefits
    Starting pay - $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds)
    Work hours - Shifts between 7:00am-5:00 pm (CST) ; Work Days - Mon-Fri
    Paid Training - typically 1 week in length from 8:00am-5:00pm (CST)

    Status - Part Time see details below:
    Option 1: (20-25 hours per week) Must work Monday's and 3/28/24-3/29/24 and 4/1/24-4/2/24
    Option 2: Must work the last 4 business days of the month and the first 6 business days of the month. (10 days a month at minimum of 4 hour shifts for 40 hours per month)
    Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) - This position requires you to provide your own equipment and workspace.
    Must have verified internet service(secure, reliable and dedicated high speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection.)

    Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
    Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, 1 monitor required (dual monitors preferred)
