Additionally, Merchandise Planner - Produce may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchandise Planner is an individual contributor responsible for planning and controlling the inventory of product to increase sales and maximize profits. The Merchandise Planner will also be a liaison between merchandising, allocation, logistics and other cross functional partners. They will utilize several business applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Relex, MicroStrategy.

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, American Freight provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and cultural fit. The range of starting pay for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
