Merchandise Planner plans and forecasts for future merchandise buys based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory levels. Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratios, responding to changing sales trends, and ensuring plan sales, plan markups, and plan markdowns are achieved by departments. Being a Merchandise Planner plans and coordinates merchandise flow-through. Inputs and maintains data in various merchandising systems. Additionally, Merchandise Planner may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Job Summary:
A Planner is primarily responsible for taking ownership of products. This includes but not limited to monitoring customer service and optimized inventory levels through detailed data analysis and managing the end-to-end resupply planning process.
This role involves analyzing demand forecasts, executing order release, troubleshooting inventory/transactional discrepancies, and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver to company objectives. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are crucial for success in this position.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $56,756 and $75,674 and may include cost of living adjustments.
